The Kosova Education Centre and Forum ZFD, in the framework of the "Promoting and Protecting Child Rights in Kosovo" project, funded by the EU and managed by the EU Office in Kosovo, held on 11.09.2017 an information session for non-governmental organizations in Kosovo.The purpose of this session was to provide instructions on the Call for Proposals for thefunding of small projects by NGOsin Kosovo, under the "Promoting and Protecting Child Rights" project.The call is open until September 20, 2017, for all NGOs operating in Kosovo.

This session was attended by over 50 interested representatives who had the opportunity to be informed about the detailsof the call.

Among the various topics, the following questions were also discussed:
1. Can the same school apply with two or more NGOs?
- A school can be involved in two or more applications, but it cannot be a beneficiary in two projects.
2. Can more than 4 schools be included in the project?
- Under no circumstances will an application with less or more than 4 schools be eligible.
3. Is it possible to apply for a project that includes more than one NGO?
- The call is open for only one NGO per project.
4. Duration of activities by NGOs?
- The duration of the activities of a project proposal should be no shorter than 12 months and no longer than 20 months. However, the cooperation agreement with NGOs will cover 18-20 months.
5. What percentage of the budget can be spent on administrative expenses and human resources?
- Such costscan amount to around 30% of the budget. The rest should be planned for project activities.
6. What is the project’s visibility?
- Visibility should contribute to the effective implementation of the project, ensuring that the information regarding its objectives, results and outcomesis correctly presented and shared with the right audiences, in a timely manner and using the most effective means. Visibility should be in line with the project’s rules.
7. Can the project enter into an agreement with the MED?
- Yes, the project can enter into an agreement with the MED, if the agreement includes all four schools. However, the schools’ pledge to be part of the project is extremely important.
